Frequently asked questions

Which iPhones support dual recording?

Any iPhone XS or newer running iOS 17 or later. iPhone 12 and newer give the best 4K dual-recording results.

Where do my recordings go?

Both files (9:16 vertical and 16:9 horizontal) save automatically to your Photos library when you stop recording. They live on your device — recordings are never uploaded anywhere.

Does the app work on iPad?

iPads with multi-cam support work. Most newer iPad Pro and iPad Air models qualify.

Why can’t I record at 4K · 60 fps?

Some devices cap dual-camera capture at lower resolutions or frame rates depending on the active cameras. The in-app quality picker will only show options your current device supports.

I tapped record but only one file saved.

Check the recording mode — a swipe on the viewfinder cycles between Both, Vertical only, and Horizontal only. Make sure “Both” is selected.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled directly by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select Dual Creator Cam from your purchase history.

Will there be subscriptions or in-app purchases?

No. Dual Creator Cam is a one-time purchase. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads.
